We have recently been chosen to be a part of the Thursday night lights broadcasts. This selection means that our game vs. Chelsea, our first home game, will be aired and moved to Thursday, September 6.

These supplies will support the Coach and his staff in the preparation and execution of our Warrior Football program. Item numbers listed are from Office Depot. Not required but gives a description. During the 2012 football season, businesses will have the opportunity to sponsor an individual Thompson High home football game. Each game will have an official game sponsor for a cost of $500.00. Only 3 games remaining for sponsorship! Let’s show our support for the Warriors!!

Oak Mountain Concerts and TiPS

This information applies to parents that would like to work at the OAK Mountain Concert series. If you have not been TIPS certified then please try to make the one of the next two classes ( info below)! If You were previously certified you must take the refresher course. You still have time to go to thewarriorzone.net and sign up for concerts.

All concert volunteers must be TIPS certified and 21 or over and

PREVIOUSLY CERTIFIED VOLUNTEERS MUST TAKE A REFRESHER COURSE.

We just received this information today and we may be in a crunch to get everyone OK’D to work, but there are 2 possible classes you can attend to get certified or refreshed.

1> Saturday May 5 at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater at 11am ( tan metal building)

2> Tuesday, May 15 at the Pelham High School cafeteria at 7pm.

These classes should not take over an hour and 30 minutes but you must attend to be able to work any concerts this year. We do not know if there will any more classes offered after these two.

We are sorry that the THSQBC did not get this information until now and the THSQBC hopes that this does not keep anyone from working the concerts this year.
